The colors were independent of the type of tank/ afv.
The only known use of this color combination is with this unit:

I and II denote staff vehicles of I and II Pz Abt respecively (two Abteilung form one Regiment), fe Pallud's "Panzers in Normandy", shows the eight vehicles for the staff of I Pz Abt (Panthers, II had Pz IV) numbered I 01/ through I 08. So in any case you'd need the Archer numbers sheet of the same color combination to use it.
A few units had three Abt.
