Dear Modellers

Forgive the "simplicity" of this question BUT could
someone please simply outline the different names
for chemicals we might end up using.

The example in mind is "mineral spirits" where I checked
it to be "turpentine".
Is this correct . . or again are there several things that
are called "mineral spirits".
(I am an Aussie living in Germany, hence the confusion).
