Subject:  vallejo " german pack "List thread.

 From:  Gideon Brainerd
in the mar/apr copy of historical minature, i found an ad for vallejo
" model air" which i assume is meant to be used in an airbrush.as i
don't have an airbrush,my first query is,do these paints work as well on
a brush. second query is : the ad mentioned something called a" ww2
german pack". since i seem forever in search of the elusive" field grey"
has anyone actually used these pack ,useing a brush not an airgun, and
does the finished outcome resemble, the above mentioned Field gray?

while i am on this topic,i recently purchased the osprey book on the
german army during the blitz in the west. unless my eyes are failing.
there seems precious little grey in " field gray ". the osprey color
plates showed an essential" washed out, faded light green fatigue
jacket" over brownish pants. can anyone advise on these queries? will
vallejo air work on brushes and what is it's fidelity compared to my
description above of the osprey color plstes in thier " the german army
1939(1) blitzkrieg? any help would be most appreciated as i have about
60 tamiya german troops, in various stages of completion, all waiting
for thier painting, prior to placement in a diorama.

many thanks gideon brainerd
