| Usually I will paint the lower hull and the running gear (especially tigers and panthers) before assembly, but wait for the rest of the kit until after construction is complete.This saves the time and work of not having to scrape paint off pieces that I have to glue to other pieces.Typically I do not bother with any camo schemes at this point, just the base color. As mentioned in other answers on this thread it saves the problem of unpainted plastic that is very difficult to get at once the kit is complete. |
