| Subject: | Reliable Method for Application of Decals w/o Gloss Coat | |
| Date: | Oct 10, 2007 |
| From: | Mark Norman | |
After reading Sean's suggestion on avoiding washes with careful drybrushing I thought that preferable to drenching my model in Future or Chris "Panzer" M's area washes.
However I am doing a Tiger I in 1/48 scale and will need to apply markings.
Question: I've heard of reliable methods to apply conventional decals w/o using Future. For example, using diluted white glue to take the decal off the backing. Has anyone got a tried and true method to avoid silvering w/o the gloss coat?
Thanks in advance.
