Thanks all. I hated to add future to the model, especially an AFV, where the markings are so small. I didn't know you could selectively apply future to a small area and not discolor the paint in that area. Future seems to make the model loose some luster (pun not intended) and you have to remember to get any dust off the model before application or it will stand out.

I have some dry transfers but this kit has molded on Zimmerit and that might be a challenge even for dry tranfers. Besides, they can be expensive and will need be ordered up front.

These are some excellent suggestions and I'll make sure to experiment. Thanks very much.
