Subject:  Modern US Desert Armor Color - give up!List thread.

Ok, I give up. I've searched the forum and can't find a definitive answer to what should be simple question. As an aircraft modeler, I'm used to easily finding an FS number to match my subject. That said, I've also learned to take kit instructions with a grain of salt. I have two armor kits to paint. Tamiya's "Desert Storm" USMC M60 with reactive armor, and Tamiya's M1A1 Abrams. I prefer Testor's acryl as it is readily available and does not smell. I found two colors, "Armor Sand" and "Sand". Which, if either, is correct for these models?

Thanks in advance, Fred
