Glad you seem to have resolved your problem this time.

But, Bill's last suggestions were good ones even if your temps are a bit coolish right now.

In the future, if you're having problems, and you're sure your brush is clean and you've got all the air pressure and paint mixtures the same as a previous session where you had good results, the air temp and humidity could be the new bug-a-boo.

Some general rules of thumb: The thicker the paint, the highr the air pressure. The thinner the paint, the lower the air pressure (especially for fine line work). The warmer it is, the more humidity you could have and the more problems you might have with water in your air lines. However, warmer temps require slightly thinner paint. You can use slightly thicker paint when it's cooler. And finally, the distance from the airbrush to the work can be adjusted to ensure that the paint is going on wet, but not too heavy.

Any changes in any of these conditions (thickness of the paint, air pressure, temperature, humidity, and distance to the work) will have some change on the finish. And achieving consistant work is a balancing act between them.
