| Aidan; I wont to add a note to my first reply, Another modler said that the hatch arm was painted black that is a way to go also. But I have always looked an interior part that looks black, and is used as much as the hatch arm as having the paint warn off down to the bare metal. And a major thing to remember is that almost anything is posiable because no one book can cover every single tank that was made. And many tanks were rebuilt and repainted. So if you wont to show a well used tank. Paint the hatch interior the base color of the tank. Dry-brush a little primer red around the edges. Paint the hatch arm and latch eather flat primer red. a flat blue-green,or flat machine gray. And then dry brush some flat black where the handles would be touched the most. Steve |
