I am doing a quick holiday build of the Tamiya King Tiger with "Porsche" turret. I usually use ModelMasters dark yellow with tan and white mixed in but decided to go with Tamiya's Acrylic paint XF-60. First time using Tamiya stuff.

(I do not have other colors at this moment, bad decision!)

XF-60 is not dark yellow at all. It is some kind of yellowish mustard color that frankly looks like puke. I have all the zimmerited parts of my tank painted XF-60 now.

Are there ways of washing the model with shades of red/brown and black to bring some life back to the color?

How would you guys recover from this?
