Richard, terrific idea, but as there were so many different period interpretations and blends of "dunkelgelb", not too mention being at the mercy of original paint more than 60 years old, I am afraid trying to get an exact formula would be incredibly taxing. Besides, knowing modelers, even if 95-percent of the modeling fraternity agreed on a shade, some "pseudo-expert" would uncover evidence to the contrary, thereby creating enough doubt to conjure up the debate once again! Why bother .....?
