Mike thanks for the response. I spoke to Tom Jentz in 2005 at Aberdeen during a AMPS convention and he told me that he had knew of an original NOS sight piece in Germany from a late Tiger I that he is trying to get. I have offered to do the paint analyzes on this piece if he can get his hands on it. The piece has been wrapped in waxed paper in a box since 1944. Even with 60 years of wear with great care you can bring out the color. Keep in mind all you need is a spot the size of a nickle to get a good reading. Even then it will take me quite of few hours in the booth to get the color correct. You are right I have talked to those "pseudo-experts" who have never seen a real tank yet insist on arguing what is correct and incorrect on many topics including color. But rest assured Mike we run into the same type in the Chrysler Muscle Car world. Thanks Mike Happy New Year my friend.
