Does anyone know exactly how scale affects colour perception? I have read in the modelling press that we should lighten our base colours for the "scale effect". What exactly is the "scale effect", is it quantifiable?
Andrew Herbert,
Do you have any information of how scale affects colour? Does the saturation reduce by 35 for example?
Are there formulas? I don't ever recall reading anything that could be applicable while I was at school.
