Hi.
I use those three brands. I only brush paint, and find for larger surfaces, like a tank in 1/35 scale, PollyScale is great. No brush marks, and nice coverage.
It's very important to have a very clean model first. But I NEVER get a good result with one coat. I find it better to use a few thin coats, thereby not obscuring any detail. Primer optional then too.
Vallejos and Andrea are great for figures, and I know some folks use them for armor kits too.
Again, unlikely to cover in one coat. That's the big advantage with enamels. Of course the toxins are a problem!
