Here is somthing you might want to try. At craft stores there is a product called Rub-n-Buff. It comes in a small tube in several colors. Three are gold. The very lightest one lookes almost like aged brass. The product smells like shoe polish btcause it hass a wax base. Polish the plastic good because any flaws will show. With a Q-tip, or your finger, apply an even coat. Allow it to dry a few minutes then buff with a small piece of felt. One tube will last for years.
