| Well, I don't have an airbrush (and can't use one safely in my current home environment) so brush painting is all I have until I move into a new house. I've had good experiences with Humbrol acrylics which IMO flow just as well as their enamels, but with much easier clean-up. My experiences with using Tamiya acrylics is not so good, but I guess that it's pretty well-known that they're difficult to use with a brush. You can get there, but it takes some effort. Just recently I've been trying out the LifeColor acrylic range and I'm pretty pleased with them -- they flow even better than Humbrol. I've also used Citadel acrylics which flow pretty decently too, however their colour range is not optimised for historical models! |
