| I haven't tried Krylon, but I quit using Testors dull-coat because I found that after a few years, the model changes color. The dull-coat yellows and darkens. If you are going to spray it into a container and then air brush it anyway, you should try using acrylic matt varnish. It comes in gloss, satin, and matt. It is available at craft stores and can be thinned with water or windex / windshield washer fluid. I find that it works quite well and doesen't yellow. I've used it over acrylic paints and enamals with no problems. As with all acrylics, make sure that you filter the paint before you spray it. If you don't, you may get small clumps, and you'll end up eith little white spots on your model. |
