Hi Fred,

I never mind helping others as it allows me to add back into the site, in a more active way.

I honestly dont know why Iwata do not suggest the HP-CH for modelling, I guess that it was probably designed with the graphic artist in mind as it will spray inks and extremely thin paints, superbly. Maybe if they suggest that it is good for modelling, they worry that it might put the artists off. Without Harping on, the MAC valve offers such an excellent capability in controlling the output, I think that this was its major selling point to the professional artist in a design environment. That is my view anyway.

Compressors, I can see no reason why yours should not work, if it has a moisture trap and control to adjust the pressure at that end.
I have been using the same Revell Omega unit, for about 10 years and in that time it has powered various Badgers, the Millenium, Azteks and currently my HP-CH. Although Iwata would like you to use their models and spend extra, on the whole any compressor,is used for a similar purpose, to spray air.
I keep meaning to buy a 'T' fitment for my compressor, so that I can have the Iwata and Paaasch, attached at the same time to save time on swopping them out.

To fit the HP-CH to the Paasch hose, I luckily had accrued a number of different adaptors over the years of airbrush use and managed to find the perfect one to step the size up from Paasch to the HP-CH. They are things that are not too expensive and are stocked by airbrush suppliers. In the UK, I would use Airbrushes.com, but have heard companies mentioned in forums for other parts of the world.

If you have any other questions/points ask away, always glad to help.

John
