Hi,

You might look at WalMart (if you have one) or Canadian Tire. I picked up a decent compressor with a 2 gallon tank for less than $100. Take your air hose along so you can get the right fittings to hook it up, and you are in business. (If you don't already have one, you may want a moisture trap too.)

The nice thing about the tank is that the compressor only runs until it's full, then shuts off (blessed silence!). You also don't get the the pulsing air that some no-tank compressors can supply. And most have a regulator already installed so you can adjust your spray pressure very easily.

Another nice thing about compressors like this is that they can also be used for air tools (like nailguns) or simply to air up your car tires. You can't do that with a hobby compressor.

Chuck
