Hear hear! I could not agree more. What I have found, is that unless you wish to convey a "Junkyard" wreck, back off on the paint chipping. I feel this technique is so over done these days. It has been said before, but I will repeat it here, next time in passing, take a good hard look at a large piece of construction equipement in your area, some of these have spent years "in the field", and don't display the amount of wear and tear I see on Armour models today. The same applies to the highly polished condition of the high contact points of the running gear. A Dozer can crawl through the mud, and while still doing so, maintains bright spots on the tracks, return rollers, sprockets etc. That I believe, is why a mudded up AFV dio is so hard to pull off, to goop it all up, yet still retain those highly refined contact points at the same time. Something I have really noticed lately in viewing all forms of reference visuals, is the extreme amounts of plain old 'dust' that AFV's accumalate!

Just my two cents on the subject.......ah, that feels better.

Cheers,

Ross.
