| Good comment. Thinking of scrapes on modern take makes me think of something. One hardly ever sees the lengthwise scraps that AFVs get whn going through woods and such. these usually appear as a lightened, almost grayish version of the actual paint as they don't seem to scrape all the way through the paint. And they tend to be prominent on modern vehicles painted withe the very flat modern paints which in my view are less durable than the backed on lacquer not so flat paints of WWII up through the 1960s. |
