Hi
Most things seem to have been covered but you may want to look at these as well for further reference and ideas.

I managed to get an unused cooker hood with which I'll be basing my design and build on.
It has several advantages in that its already got variable speed, a filter, lights and a system ready to plumb in piping to extract outside.
I'll be flipping it over so this will form the base of my booth thus drawing the paint towards the model with excess being sucked away past it.
I picked up a cheap wooden lazy Susan from Ikea. Being wood it has several advantages.
First I can reduce its diameter considerably with simple woodworking tools, and secondly I can easily fix items such as clamps etc to the wood with screws. These clamps can then hold small parts.
Finally if I want to I can drill many many holes through the wood platform of the Lazy Susan so this will increase the down draft around the kit and increase the removal of excess paint spray. If it's too much I can seal some of the holes with scrap thin card.
I'll put a front on it, hinged so when I've finished spraying I can close the lid to keep dust etc off the wet paint, although acrylic which is what I'll be using dries pretty quickly.
