Hey there

I had an Aztec a few years ago, I tried spraying AV Model Air thorugh it and had exactly the same problems as yourself, after a few months of swearing and brush painting models it finally broke inside somewhere and so I bought an Iwata.

Since buying the Iwata I have never had a problem, I can spray AV Model air through it straight from the bottle without eztra thinning (unless I want a really thin line) and it runs sweet as can be.

Vallejo paints (as has already been mentioned) dry very quickly and therefore I would reccomend only 3-4 drops maximum in the airbrush cup and top up as needed for detailed airbrushing. When applying base coats then fill the cup up no problem.

Two things to stress, only use Vallejos' own brand thinner and their own brand cleaner, nothing else works on the paints.

This is the model Iwata I own;

hope this helps mate
