For military models I find the coat of Future for decals to be too glossy so I mix about 30% Tamiya Base Coat with the Future I am using for decal work. It takes the gloss off and seems to work fine but may be a contributing factor to the milky condition. I have noted the milky condition at times and was quite concerned the first time it occurred but after drying the color went back to normal and continues to do so whenever it has occurred since then. I think the milky condition occurred more often with Micro-Sol than with Micro-Set. With my limited experience I can not say for sure yet one way or the other.
