| It's not a Flat Base COAT, it's flat base, a flattening agent, an additive to be mixed with other paints to reduce gloss. It contains no binder, and will not adhere on its own. It's not all that useful, as you have to guess what amount will be needed to flatten a coat of gloss paint, and you may still end up with a satin finish instead of a flat. Better to gloss coat the model, decal, seal and weather it, then overspray a premixed clear flat paint. |
