Glenn,

No wonder why your stuff looks better than mine and sells better on eBay.

1. I always paint my tanks a base color and never shade it. I do however use washes, drybrushing, oils for fading and pigments. Strike 1.

2. On dark vehicles (OD, German Gray, Dark Green) I always paint the tires flat black. I currently drybrush them Vallejo German Camo Black Brown. Gray to my eyes just doesn't look like rubber. Strike 2.

3. I have premixed washes of various colors according to the base color. Strike 3. First out.

4.OK, I do do this. Most of the time however I just place dust over the tarps and such using pigments. Foul ball.

5. Not sure here either if I put too many. Foul ball.

6. I use a wide variety of 'rust' colors. Strike 3. second out.

7. I never use silver on anything except aircraft. I do however use a No. 2 pencil. Foul ball.

8. Finally something I do. The decals are on prior to weathering. Hit, single.

9. Another thing I try hard to make believable. Straps, ropes and draping for all items. Hit, single, 2 men on base.

10. Not sure if I do or not. Foul ball.

So there you have it. 2 outs, 2 strikes and 2 men on base. No wonder why you are the tops.
