Some more recollections of this process.
I used both MIG pigment and "dust" scraped from pastel sticks. I was applying this on Tamiya painted model, hence the acyrlic thinners attack the finish enouogh for the pigment to "stick".The pigment may be removed, by rubbing or water...maybe solvents if you are brave, but the oiginal finish will not be the same as before this technique.
I wouldn't dry brush over this technique. This is the last part of the finishing process. The model has now been run through a dusty environment and it shows. |
