Hi All,

The Archer instructions mention decal solvents in conjunction only with the use of Archer's wet decal paper that comes with some of the sets.

Imho and experience decal solvents will do little or nothing to get rid of this occasional residue as seen in your pic.

Robert, have you given the decal(s) a soft rub using the backing paper of your Archer set?
I always do.
One it fixes the decal better to the surface and Two it always totally eliminates any of this residue film without fail.
A gentle rub with a q-tip is all you need and there will be no visible after effects.

Another tip to avoid the effect you mention in future is to rub only over the characters and not the entire block you cut out from the sheet.

H.T.H. & Happy Modelling
Jerry
