Subject:  Naptha as alternative to terpentine / paint thinnerList thread.

Out of necessity, I rescently tried using naptha instead. I liked the way it evaporates quickly, doesn't pool and stay in corners to long, and being less apt to lift and ruin (oh, the horror) enamal paint finishes.

It seemed to me to be a good alternative for washes.

Am I missing something on the downside besides being more volitile stuff?

Thanks, DK
