This is mainly for Miguel but also for everyone else.

Miguel, that is quite an accusation you level here!
You want me to believe that a world-trader like Tamiya is LYING to consumers about the contents of their products?
Just to make as many yen as possible by exposing children to paints they shouldn't be exposed to???
Because that is what your text implies.

Quite a tall story if you consider that Tamiya acrylics have been on the market for many decades now and in all those years n o b o d y ever checked a single jar of Tamiya paints on its contents?
Well, take it from me, the EU inspectors would have a field day if they would discover such an almost criminal violation of EU Trade Description Acts.
Hey, come on please or are you next going to tell us Neil Armstrong didn't walk on the moon either?

I really admire your products and your models but I really strongly suggest you get some basic information on what the terms "lacquer" and "acrlylic" and "enamel" really (... I mean scientifically..) mean.
Take a look under 'lacquer' on a site like Wikipedia and you will see that this whole topic is based on errors and an amateurish mixing-up of terms.

Nothing discussed here sofar is either logical or in any way helpful for modellers.

Jerry
