Note that if it was silver that the crew would sometimes scrape off the silver paint from the insides areas. They did this to prevent the sun reflecting off of it and giving the car's position away.
This occured on closed top British AFVs... so _if_ the Dingo had a silver painted interior then I imagine they would certainly have scraped it off too.
