The suggestion of a compressor not air cans is a good one. The costs of air cans will soon have you wishing that money had been spent on a compressor.

SENCO makes a small compressor used with small nail guns...I bought mine for under $100. It has an 1 gallon air tank and regulator. It's oil less, which mean you never have to oil the compressor but also means it's noisy. Provides pressure up to 90 psi and sufficent air volume (cfs) to run my airbrushes.

The other option is a "diaphram compressor" which has no tank or regulator, usually makes 15-20psi and low volume, but usually sufficent. They are much quieter. Most of those sell for a price close to the SENCO.

Or use a nitrogen tank rented from a welding supply store. This requires a separate regulator which you might be able to rent from the same store. One charge will last over a year unless you can afford to buy a lot of kits...in which case buy the compressor!

Use a SCUBA tank and refill at the local scuba shop. This depends on whether you have such a shop close to you.
