All is not lost. Soak the kit in windex overnight then rinse it. That should remove all the acrylic paint. I have not had the issue you are having, my problems are premature drying of the paint on the tip of the needle. How clean is your airbrush? Is the needle perfectly straight? you can thin bith MA and MC with water - I find distilled works best.
