Hi , to prep the vinyl tracks you should paint on a thin layer of PVA glue or as some call it White glue , dilute 50-50 with water . Leave to harden off at least 2 days , then paint in the normal way . This prevents the flaking and the vinyl reacting with the normal plastic , ie it melts down over a long period of time cheers ian
