The colour is supposed to be the British Brown SCC-2 (I think, I'm away
from my references at the moment) which apparently, when new, was a rich
chocolate brown. This quickly faded in the field to a more drab brown
something near Tamiya Earth. If I were you I might consider using the
dark base colour/lighter top coat system using a plain Tamiya Flat Brown
overall and then spraying in the Flat Earth to lighten the tone and in a
mottled fashion to simulate the fading. A little streaking with sprayed,
thinned Buff or Light Stone and you can get a good effect.
