Green?? Oh, bollux! Then never mind what I said, Mark. In either case I
would use a black wash first into the deeper crevasses and then maybe a
burnt umber wash more generally after. For any British brown vehicles I
would use a Buff or Deck Tan tone for drybrushing, if that helps.
