Hi Alberto,
I used to have this problem but not anymore.
One of the ways to counter the sandpaper effect is to add a bit of Tamiya clear
to the mix, it helps bind everything and keeps the paint from drying too fast.
Personally I had a lot of thinner to my mixes of Tamiya paints about 50 to 70%
thinner to 50 to 30% paint. The secret is to use a special kind of thinner.
I got the tip from master French modellers (Gilles Peiffer initially but
Fréderic Astier uses the same trick too) : use "alcool ŕ brűler" to thin Tamiya
acrylics. I don't know if it's available in Brazil it's a quite strong smelling
alcohol sold in French DIY (Do It Yourself) stores, it's quite cheap too.
Translates into English as "burning alcohol" but I couldn't find the equivalent
in the UK so I brought back several 1 liter bottles from France.
After that you'll also have to watch the pressure you're spraying at. Too much
pressure and the paints may dry faster and cause the sandpaper effect.
Hope this helps somewhat...
