The construction forum is for the discussion of small scale AFV modelling. Usually this refers to 1-76th and 1-72nd scale AFVs.

Well, the arrangement of the ammo itself would make for very different
interiors. The ammo for the 76mm was longer, with a larger case than the
75mm and the "Dry" stowage was just racks while the "wet" was in bins
with a waterjacket around them. The tranny and the like were all pretty
much the same, but a lot of the smaller details shifted about. I think
that the later Shermans went to a smaller turret basket, didn't they?
More of a suspended local platform than an entire suspended disk for all
three turret members. It allowed more access to the ammo bins under the
basket floor.

So, there were a number of interior changes over the life of the
vehicle, many of them major and readily visible.
