The main reason building 1/72 for me and i suppose for many people is that size does matters...and i dont know many people who have the space to store never mind display 30 -40 or more 1/35 models in their own house unless they have moved in a warehouse or similar. As it is almost nessecity for me the small scale i try to put as much detail i can without forgetting that is called small scale for a reason. It is only fortunate recent releases have extend the variety and the quality of the subjects , however lets not forget primary reason for all the manufacturers is profit (there is little point pricing a tiger i 7.99 uk sterling when i can buy the italieri in 1/35 for 9.99 ) so they have to find ways of cutting their costs down and still be able to produce a model descent enough in that scale.Having said all that now certain companies often hide behind their reputation and rely on it far too much some times.I think DML is not one of them but this time seems they just rushed a bit too much in order to be the first before xmas to release all these kits before anyone else does.By doing so they made themselves easy tagers to the competitors will have now the chance of evaluating the kits and making equal or better (not so hard according the reviews i have read so far) kits at the same or lower price of DML's line making their entire series worthless. It will be interesting to see the prices after some of the alternatives hit the selves as i am sure only then we will see their true value.I have recently noticed an increase in the revell stuff (armor 1/72) of about 50% i used to buy a tiger i for example for 3.99 and now the kit costs 5 or 6.99.Thats lack of competition for us plus the fact taht they know they have a good product so they (includes retailers) sell it agresivelly as long as they can get away with it. On the subject of details and wether the DML kits are for kids or adults ,young or old, i say i dont care what they advertise it as, is what i think of it as a serious modeller or as a child who doesnt wanna spend too much time or effort to put together 50+ pieces just to have 1 tank to play with. By the way are these vinyl tracks any good?

P.S sorry about the typing misrakes.
