Hi Roberto,
Sorry I can't help with an answer (I think that Björn's idea is a great
one), but I want to clarify that the Academy kits are completely different
than the older Hasegawa kits.
You might want to try some generic aircraft photoetched sets. Some of them
come with hand cranks which could pass a steering wheel in our scale.
