Greetings all

I am looking at an Attack Pz III G model and have noticed that the kit's engine deck has the engine vents on the hatches similar to that on the Pz III L and Pz. III M. These hatches are on the Attack Stug E as well.
Now looking through Speilberger's book all the photos and drawings appear to show the flat, unvented engine hatches. Did this model maker cut corners here of is this accurate? I suspect that some of those with vents on the engine hatches were going to Afrika, but not those in Russia?

Stephen
