Forums - Modelling / Smallscale

The construction forum is for the discussion of small scale AFV modelling. Usually this refers to 1-76th and 1-72nd scale AFVs.

I will go out on a limb and defend the DML tracks. No I have not assembled the DML Panther yet but played with the Elefant kit and find the tracks on both to be very well detailed and a great improvement over Hasegawa, Matchbox, Airfix and a number of link & length tracks out there. The DML Tiger tracks I like better than the Revell because:
1. Dragon tracks have the correct link pattern on the inside, Revell just has straight line.
2. Link & length I too often end up with a space requiring only half a link and we hope the 1/2 is in a location not too obvious. I found this with a Revell Tiger I just finished.
3. I see so many link & length tracks on models with links misaligned and crooked.

Sorry, I won't be giving mine up.

Stephen
