I'm going to stick to kits rather than models - that could be the subject of another thread.

Probably my most treasured kit is a 4Mil Models D5 bulldozer in white metal. Unfortunately, 4Mil Models ceased operations but the kit may one day return as a Scale Model Accessories (SMA) kit. My kit is partly assembled and it looks great. However, I'm not really sure how the hydraulics and control levers go so I'm waiting for some reference material before I re-commence construction. I take it out and trial fit the remaining components fairly regularly.

Another treasured kit is the SMA Mercedes Benz 1500 Combat Car - the first multi-media kit I ever attempted. Excellent fit and detail, right down to the Mercedes bonnet symbol (that I lost!).

My third treasured kit is the Ostmodels Staghound. It's a fairly basic resin kit (an ex-Cromwell kit) but I just like the look of the Staghound and the opportunity to build many variants as per David Rhodes' articles in Military in Scale.

Now, my most treasured models . . .

David
