I have seen a Milicast brass barrel used to replace a broken kit barrel on the Revell Warrior and it looked OK.

Another option (and the one that I am following) is to use the spare barrel from the Dragon M2A2. Of course, you have to buy another kit but I forced myself to do so!

Turned barrels for modern 30mm and 25mm armed AFVs would be great.
