I just started building the ACE BTR-60PB, thought I would post some initial impressions.

I like the kit very much, the detail is well done. The level of molding is the best I've seen on an ACE kit, it's especially apparent on the suspension parts. The separate (vinyl?) tires are nice also.

One problem is that the lower hull appears to be shorter than the upper hull. If the rear wall is attached at the correct right angle to the upper hull, there's a gap between it and the rear edge of the lower hull. The upper hull could be sanded back to be the same length as the lower hull, but I think I'm going to try bridging the gap with some strip styrene so as not to lose the upper hull detail.

Also the intakes for the water jet propulsion allow a view right through the assembled hull, each one will need a piece of styrene to create the inner wall of the channel.
