But hopefully nobody noticed. This past weekend I moved On The Way! to a new web hosting service, and hopefully the move was transparent to the viewer. The site is still accessed by going to http://www.ontheway.us, which now goes directly to the default page, and no longer needs an index.
There are a couple of things that may be noticed, however. For example, the operating system on the new server is case sensitive for file names, and over the years, inconsistencies have crept into some of the pages on the site regarding the name of the old background file, so some pages may now load with no backgrounds.
But if anyone notices any content that is now missing, please let me know.
The move to a new host disrupted my email for a couple of days as well, so if you sent any email on Saturday through Monday to either my 'doug' or 'contributions' addresses, please resend it.
Normal updates to the site will resume hopefully this weekend. I just got the new Dragon kits for the AA7V and the Tiger I with zimmerit coating, and scathing reviews of these two dogs are on the way. Also coming soon are previews of the new Planet Models Dragon Wagon, some MIG figures, and several more donated kits. I'm also building the Tracks & Troops Sd.Kfz. 250 half-track, so stay tuned for a full construction review of that kit in the near future as well.
And even though Andy hates this, I'm going to say it anyway:
