| If the barrel is a plastic one, it generally has a mould line down the centre. This provides you with a diameter so all I do is bisect it with a line with a sharp blade at right angles to give a cross. The centre is then marked with a sharp point (needle etc.) to give the drill bit somewhere to start. |
