from both you an MIG. Now all along I thought the problem was mostly with tire size on the Revell Kit, not the pattern. Poor 3-dimensional detail I find is a typical problem with the tires on injection molded plastic kits. This is something that best rectified with cast resin wheels.
Eric, can the bulged tires perhaps represent tires that have been damaged? I have heard how the Humvee tires are designed to still be drivable when shot and punctured; I am thinking they may bulge down when punctured but still be driven on.
