Airfix recently announced 'modifications' of its Sherman and Churchill kits with more 'new releases' to come:

While it's great that Airfix are showing renewed interest in small scale armour, I doubt whether they will do much to address the problems with the Sherman in particular. Then there's the question of whether M4s were fitted with the DD conversion. As far as I can tell, only M4A1s, M4A2s and M4A4s were used as DDs.
Despite that, I will be looking forward to the Airfix DD and Crocodile and any other 'modifications' they come up with. Hopefully, we will see a Scammell Recovery Tractor, Bedford and Austin GS trucks, Crusader AA, Pzkpw AAs, Sdkfz 234 versions with correct mudguards, and all those other conversions of Airfix kits I have tried over the years.
