I am not usually veruy concerned over exact scale except after building US 2 1/2 ton trucks from four manufacturers I was perplexed that each seams to be a little different in size. So, getting out my metric scale, calculator and 1945 US Army data, here is what I found:

PST GMC/Studebaker truck: By LOA (Length Over All) and width exactly 1/72 scale. By distance between the front wheel hub and hub of the first rear wheel is is 1/73 scale. Pretty good.

Hasegawa GMC: LOA is 1/70 scale. Width is 1/69 scale. Between the hubs is 1/72. Looks scaled to match their Sherman?

Cooperativa Studebaker: LOA is 1/72. Width is 1/65. Distance between thew hubs is 1/72. Good except for the width!

Airfix: I have not completed it enough to measure but it appears the same as the PST kit or slightly larger. So is likely 1/72 but NOT 1/76 scale as I feared at first.

Academy: ????? I cannot wait to get one!
